Welcome back to another RemARKable Blog hop, and we are still showing off the fabulous bundles available from Stampin’ Up!

If you have seen any of my other blog posts, you will know I am in LOVE with the poinsettia punch and matching stamps in the Reason for the Season set.

And of course they are available in a bundle for 15% off, how wonderful!

So with my last post about this duo, I showed a card that needed just a tad of 3-d and pop of color, so I made a small little poinsettia for that card.

Here it is if you didn’t see it in that post.

20150914_122049Just the small connected leaves make a great little accent piece for a card.

So since Stampin’ Up! has a video and their samples show a nice big creased poinsettia for alternative package bows (love that!) and other BIG needs, and of course I had just showed how cute a small one is… what else?

Why a midsize flower of course!

So for my swap card that I made for the recent Founder’s Circle incentive trip I earned, it had to be special and a tad more labor intensive than the normal card.  After all, Founder’s Circle is the top 100 in North America, no shabby card would cut it.

And yes, I have agonized over this card every time I have been fortunate enough to earn that trip.  But the swaps I get back are awesome, so it is worth it.

So this year, I wanted to do Holidays, and I wanted it to look harder than it was.

back pettalsAnd yeah, I am in love with the Poinsettia punch.

So I punched and THEN stamped some more leaves with the medium petal, added a couple of green leaves.

I was using the beautiful Designer Series paper, Season of Cheer, so I let the colors in the printed papers be my color guide.

The flower is Real Red and Cherry Cobbler, the leaves are Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizazz.

The way the color mix and look like shadow is really a nice touch!  I layered the little flower medallion on the dimensional on top of these medium leaves.

I did that a LOT!

poinsettias 2

poinsettias 1Also a favorite is the thinlet greetings set Christmas Greetings.

I used both the Merry and the Jolly because, hey, I had a lot of cards to make!

You can kinda see how many in the bags behind my components.

Did I mention the new fine tip glue is AMAZING to put the thinlet words on your card?

I also used it for the strip of glimmer paper and putting the flower pieces together.

This is another must have.  Just face it, you need it.  Go to my store in the right column and just get these things now.  You know you want to.  lol

final FC cardAnd here is the final card.

Never underestimate the power of a little pop of glimmer paper either!

Just the 1/8th” strip along the front and the center of the flower really make it more festive feeling.

So there you go, if you haven’t bought that bundle yet, DO IT!

It is awesome for sure.
