This is a fun blog hop to celebrate a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demo’s anniversary with the company.  Part of what makes joining as a Demo so fun is the friendships and the support we give each other.

When Kelly put out the word this is how she wanted to celebrate her anniversary, she filled up 2 days quickly with blogging friends from around the globe!

I hope you enjoy the projects we have for you. Our theme is HAPPY, and new stamp sets FREE with my purchase definitely makes me happy, so here is my card.  😀

Tranquil Tulips 143767 $10.00 Hostess Reward Set

I used one of the Hostess sets from the NEW catalog available June 1st. Tranquil Tulips and the new In-Colors.

Hostess sets are free when you host a party (I can set up an online party for you, just ask!) OR when you purchase a min of $150 yourself.

The new catalog will be loaded into my online store by the afternoon of June 1st, just click on the shopping cart in the right column to go shop!

A $150 order even just for yourself will be easy with all the fabulous new goodies in this catalog.  If you live in the US, I would love to be your demo. (less than $150, please use host code 3MB2DSKV when you check out.  Thanks!)

This is a fun set with the built in shading to give the look of watercoloring easily.  NO need to stamp off, just stamp the first one (the back) then the front over it in the same color. The shading is there with no extra effort on your part… Awesome!

The base card is Berry Burst, the bright mat is Lemon Lime Twist.

I added the Tranquil Tide ribbon and 2 of the little flowers are stamped on the Powder Pink Paper using the Fresh Fig ink.

For the leaves, I inked them up with the lighter shade and then lightly inked the edges in the darker Tranquil Tide.

So there you go!  All five of the new in-colors on this card.  Don’t they look great together?

I did do a little something I haven’t seen anyone else do with this set, so I want to share that with you, too.

First, stamp the smaller flower back and front on a scrap piece of whisper white cardstock.

Then you grab your blossom builder punch, this one is returning so you may already own it.

Stampin’ Up! punches are designed to be used upside down, so you can see where you are punching.

Put your stamped scrap paper in the punch and wiggle it so that the small flower on the left side in this picture has the area completely covered by the stamped image.

It isn’t a perfect match with this punch, but it does work!  And that gives you a third tulip shape for your card and also one that is EASY to pop out.

Beautiful colors, a beautiful stamp set that makes you look artistic with just regular stamping, and a popped up element that is easy.  Yes, that makes me very HAPPY!

Enjoy the rest of the blog hop.  I love that it is a global hop started by a stamping friend in Australia, so enjoy hopping and traveling from the comfort of your computer.
