Hi everyone! If everything is going right, Ken and I have just left Beijing, China and arrived in Phuket, Thailand to start the part of this year’s Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip at the fabulous Angsana Laguna Resort.

In case you have no idea where Phuket, Thailand is, here is a map.  It is on the absolute opposite side of the world from where we live!  This post is going live at 6 am Monday morning in Phuket, but it is just 7 pm (dst) on Sunday at home in NC, USA.  Actually, when we leave in a week, we will head home the other way.

What does that mean?  It means that we will LITERALLY be traveling around the world with Stampin’ Up!  How cool is that???

We are getting in kinda late Sunday  night, and in true Stampin’ Up fashion, we will be up early today and meeting the other achievers at the daily Breakfast buffet Stampin’ Up! is providing for us.  The onto a bus for the first general session and the official welcome to this fabulous adventure!

We also drop off our swap today and visit with each other in the hospitality rooms and the inspiration room.  Who wouldn’t be inspired with all the talent at these events, WOW!  It is very humbling to be able to even be in their presence, and Ken and I are so grateful to Stampin’ Up! for the opportunity to be here in this incredible place with these amazing people.

Fabulous Flamingo Photopolymer Stamp Set 143758 Price: $21.00

I wanted to share my swap with you guys.  Mine used the super cute new stamp set Fabulous Flamingo.

Actually, I won this stamp set in a prize patrol in Amsterdam in April and the set was NOT on the preorder list, so not that many folks had it.

I just loved it immediately, and the wonderful new in-color Tranquil Tide along with the coral tones in Flirty Flamingo cardstock and inks were so beautiful to me.

Plus, how appropriate are these words, ‘Tickled Pink for You”?

Pretty darn perfect for the occasion, I think!

The base card is the Tranquil Tide with a mat layer of that same color in one of the fun patterns in the In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack.

You can get 6 full card mats from one sheet of the 12″x 12″ DSP cutting it at 4″ x 5.25″.

Just pay attention to the direction your pattern will be going!

This 2 step stampingset has the different stamps for the outlines the color and shading of the bird and then the little extras.

These all add up to making you look like quite the artist, and who doesn’t like looking more artist that perhaps you really are.

I know I like that!  lol

Some other things we are looking forward to this week are a Safari Quad Bike Ride (that is an ATV ride to us),

A Thai Couples Massage (ok, Ken is not that excited about that but I am!)

A full day with the other achievers at James Bond islands in a canoe, then a speedboat tour, then a picnic and enjoying the beach and amazing scenery.

And then we are trying something else new… a first for both of us… ZIPLINING!  (eek!)

Called  the Phuket Canopy Flying Hanuman it says we will “discover Phuket’s tropical delights and hidden sights by ziplining through the trees and sky!”

Did I mention I am really afraid of heights?  Time to ZIP right out of that comfort zone, right?

I will be posting to Facebook as I can, but here is the video of this amazing resort for you to check out.  Stampin’ Up! has the WHOLE resort, and it is awesome to know that everyone there is a part of the wonderful family of demonstrators and their support systems.  Make this a goal!!!  If I can do it, anyone can do it.  It is not easy, it takes hard work of course, but OH, so worth it!
