While we were on the recent incentive trip to Thailand with Stampin’ Up!, we got a TON of new products from the upcoming holiday catalog as part of our nightly pillow gifts, hospitality room daily prizes or even prize patrols at the welcome session.  And a copy of the catalog to drool over early.

There are always ‘spoiler’ guidelines for demos when new catalogs are coming out, but this time, as trip achievers we have been given permission from Stampin’ Up!® to share these products with you early. This is one of the amazing perks that we get for earning the trip, to play early and share what we make!

So, of course, I have been playing with the new stamps, papers, thinlits and embellishments a little bit this week, since I have signed up for another big round of swaps with other demos.  I love seeing all their ideas and learning from each other!

Today, I want to share one set that is a breakout fave for me already.  It is called Every Good Wish and it is just so easy to use and make awesome (and quick) holiday cards with!

Don’t you just love the stamps that look like water colored images?  I know I do!

There are several products in the big catalog that looked so rich and lush, I knew I would be using them for holiday projects, so those are in these cards as well.

This new ribbon fave is the 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

I used the Emerald Envy and the Berry Burst in these cards, but this style of ribbon is also available in Peekaboo Peach and Night of Navy. (I love them, got them ALL)

I was also very interested in the holiday colors that would be used this year, and of course I use the fabulous In-Colors whenever I can.

For these cards, I used all In-Colors, and Emerald Envy (from last year’s group) is a fantastic holiday green!  GET SOME with this month’s $5 bonus coupons for $50 purchases.

And here is another suggestion… Stock up on the Shimmery White 8-1/2″ X 11″ Cardstock.

OMG, soooo pretty!

It is like the whole piece is covered with Wink of Stella, simply fabulous!

Hard to get a good pic of shimmery White, so trust me on this… your holiday creations need this paper.

Ok, so here are my cards with this set.

Two of these stamps are perfect for the inside of the cards, and I am not showing that here, but you will have total cards to choose from.

The measurements of the paper on these card were done to maximize the number of cards you can make using this specialty cardstock.

The Shimmery White piece on this one is 4″x 3.25″

The Emerald Envy mat piece is 4.25″ x 3.5″

The Berry Burst base card is the normal A2 size.

You can get 6 pieces out of the shimmery white and 6 mat pieces out of the Emerald Envy.

Using the corner ribbon piece adds a great bit of texture and shine AND really saves ribbon since one roll could do MANY cards like this.

Now for this card, the measurements are even MORE efficient!

The shimmery white piece is 2.5″ x 3.25″

And the Fresh Fig mat piece is 2.75″ x 4.25″

That means you get 8 out of each piece of cardstock and on the Fresh Fig piece, there is ZERO waste!

I love maximizing my materials.  😉

Another thing I have been loving lately is cutting the cardstock for the base card in maybe a slightly different way than usual.

Still half a sheet, but cut down the middle long-ways creating a piece 11″ x 4.25″ before it is scored and folded at 5.5″.

Just a little something different, just like the wide margins of the base card showing.  Love this look!

So get ready for an AWESOME holiday catalog (as usual) and enjoy earning the $5 coupons on a $50 purchase in July and spending  them in August as you stock up and get ready to have some crafty fun this fall!

A $50 purchase from me will get a new holiday catalog sent to your door and you will be ready.  Just click on the shopping cart in the right column to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store 24/7.  Please use the hostess code DTZWCNUP when you check out, thanks!

Now follow the blog hop list to see what the other trip achievers have been playing with as we adjust back to our own time zones… lots of middle of the night crafting going on lately, but that is still FUN!
