A fun challenge this month and when I say challenge, I mean another CONTEST. When I heard the theme this month was going to be ‘Grateful inspired by Thailand’, I thought well, how perfect!

It is perfect because that is where I am right now!  Isn’t it beautiful?

I can’t wait to add all my personal photos when I get back home, although I will be sneaking them onto Facebook this week if possible!

And you better believe I am grateful to be here on this fabulous adventure with my hubby Ken, and all these talented Demos from around the world!

The excitement of any Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip starts right when we receive our travel documents.

It is always a themed and coordinated package that is a small taste of the spoiling to come. NO ONE does super cute packaging better than Stampin’ Up! (really, no surprise there, right?).

Here is a closer look at the luggage tag.

OMG, how cute and in Stampin’ Up! colors, too.

I see Emerald Envy and Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Pumpkin Pie, and some Crushed Curry thrown in for good measure!

Here is a closer look at this little cutie… and the inspiration for my card today.

When I think of being grateful, being in Thailand, being with Stampin’ Up! in general, the first thing that always pops into my head is the wonderful friendships I have made with demos from around the world.

Some are folks I have now known for years, and some I consider great friends on Facebook that I just haven’t met in person yet.

That is what this post and this card is about today.  I am a member of a very special Facebook group with some incredibly talented demos and we all have something in common that we are dealing with in our day to day lives.  We are caring and supportive of each other on our journeys and on Facebook we are always ‘there’ for each other.

So as we all started planning for this trip, it was fun to see that several of us in the group would also be ‘here’ for each other… and ‘here’ in this case is Thailand!

A meeting with a photo opp was arranged for yesterday, and although I will probably not be able to update this post with our picture until I return home next week.

But I wanted to share the card I made and gave to each of the ladies.

Yes, I know the Lucky Elephant was in this year’s Occasions mini catalog and retired, but I bought it to use for Thailand cards and after I saw the luggage tags…  yeah, it had to be used!

And since I am on a MAJOR motion card binge, I made some fun motion cards for my friends.  Here it is in motion!

There is something a bit new in this motion card… I limited the range of motion since I did not want the inside to come all the way out.

This trick is really handy, and since I am compiling ideas for some Advanced Motion Card Techniques now, it will definitely be in there!

That PDF will be coming soon when I get back home and have more time to perfect the ideas in my head.

In the meantime, if you want to get started playing with these motion cards, get the tutorial  here and make sure you have all the supplies you will need as you go thru all the pictures and tips I put in there for you.

If you like this card, I would appreciate your vote so I can participate in another special blog hop my friend Kylie Bertucci from Australia is having for the winners.

And there will be several winners, so it won’t hurt to throw me a vote, too.  LOL!

Cast your vote HERE or click on the picture.

Thanks for looking and make sure to go create something today!

To buy any of the products I used to make this colorful motion card, and you live in the US, just click on the shopping cart on the top of the right hand column to go to my Stampin’ Up! store.
