Welcome to the FIRST blog hop for our NC Demos Group! We have something special here in NC, a wonderful fellowship with the other Stampin’ Up! Demos and we are working together to be all we can be.
We all want you to get to know us and our styles, too. So no matter where you started, I am glad you are here with me, Tamra Davis, for a few minutes.
For this month’s project, we are focusing on Sale-a-Bration items. Those are the items you can now pick FREE with each $50 in purchases.
Every $50 there are freebies for you.
This is FUN!
I chose the little vellum stack to highlight as my freebie of choice. Here is the description – Vellum cardstock sheets printed with delicate white ink make gorgeous accents and invitations.
Sounds good. Now here is another little game I play. I sometime like to take out a few items and them challenge myself to make something using JUST those supplies.
Don’t judge, my game is fun. lol And it is a great time to show that with just a few supplies you can make a bunch different looking cards to send your family and friends.
Here is what I am using for my supplies this time around.
I grabbed a few of the in-colors from 2014-2016 AND the Designer Series Paper stack for those colors. (here’s a TIP, that stack is now in the Clearance Rack. Marked down from $21 to $13.17!!! SCORE!)
Also a couple of flower punches, my favorite neutral shade, Basic Black, in cardstock and also stitched satin ribbon, and the always awesome accent, Basic Rhinestones.
Another thing that is NEW in the Occasions Catalog is this stamp set that is fast becoming my favorite word set, Greatest Greetings.
This is a group of common sentiments updated a bit to give us a different way of saying what we need to say. I love that!
And in a really great font, too
Put this stamp set on your list, we all need a bit of an update here and there. Stampin’ Up! is always on trend, they make it easy for us. 😉
So, with all of this fun stuff laid out before me, I just started to ‘play’, er, I mean WORK HARD on making some fun cards to show you.
I love how this FREE printed vellum looks on the black cardstock… really pops off the page.
And you can put any color with Basic Black and it will look great.
Here is another shot of one of the other vellum patterns.
I am having a ball using these items for making some fun cards, so I plan to keep on going!
