Hello!  It’s time for another  NC Demos Blog Hop.

Earlier this month, I attended another super fun Stampin’ Up! Onstage Live event.  This time it was here in the US, in Salt Lake City.

My previous post was about the group of 2×2 swappers lead by my friend Debbie McNeil.

This is an awesome way to make any little works of art in a short time frame.

After the first time I joined Debbie’s swap, I was hooked on the 2×2 format, and have done several of these swaps with my team and the NC demos, several of the ladies on this blog hop included.

Here is another of the 12×12 art pieces I made from this recent ‘holiday’ themed swap.

I am decorating the house for the holidays today, so I took the easy way out and just created a nice piece for these swaps to be on.  No, I didn’t stamp any of these, but I used swaps from my friends to still create art!  Thanks guys!

Any 12 x 12″ Designer Series Paper works great for the background.  The Old Olive piece for the top mat is 9.5″ x 9.5″ and the silver foil piece is 10″ x 10″.  This will mount in a 12×12″ scrapbook frame or an record frame to display for the holidays.

Want a little cheap trick for saving your glimmer paper? The silver glimmer is NOT a solid piece.  Nope not even close!  It is 1/2″ strips just glued around the edge of one of the cardboard backer pieces.  Glimmer paper is awesome for not showing the seam, so why waste all that sparkly ‘middle’?

For another super shiny art piece made from this same swap, please scroll down to the next post after you go around all around and see what the other NC Demos have been working on.  You won’t want to miss a one, just a few ladies, but very talented for sure!
