Hi Everyone, and I hope you are having a great holiday!  It has been a busy season for us, like for everyone, but as a cardmaker, I really needed to get some cards out to some old and new friends this year.

I finally had a chance to sit down and make several to send to family friends this week.  You know I have been playing with my new preorder goodies and it is hard to put the new stuff down after you get it in your hands.

But some of the new spring goodies can work for lots of different occasions… including Christmas, of course.

I am talking about this year’s incredible level 2 Sale-a-Bration offering, the Celebrate You thinlits!

As a demo I was able to earn these beauties early, but everyone can earn them starting Jan 3rd with any Stampin’ Up! order of $100.

And when I say ‘earn’ them, I mean get them FREE!  What a deal!

AND, these will be carrying over to the new annual catalog, so that makes it an even better deal… you can keep on using them and not have to pay for them.  😉

Here is the image of the thinlits.

I have already posted before some things using the word ‘amazing’, so my holiday card needed to have a ‘celebrate’ on it!

There is a suite of Christmas products in the holiday catalog that is just black and white and Old Olive.  Those colors are really growing on me as a holiday card much to my surprise.

A wonderful bundle of musical instruments in the holiday catalog had been on the short list for my personal card.  These will be gone after January 2nd, snag them now!!!

The inside/outside sentiments in this set and the matching thinlits caught my eye early… I was a proud band geek in high school after all.

There is also a package of glimmer paper, a 6″x 6″ stack in 3 new colors in the new upcoming catalog.  And that starts on January 3rd.

They call the colors Iridescent, light green and turquoise.

I just loved how the light green went with the Old Olive cardstock!

Here is the close-up of the celebrate cut out.  I bent it a bit in a slight arch to go on my card.

The music background is also a black and white DSP package, and you can see how well the light green glimmer goes with the Old Olive in this pic.

And then here is the full card.

The Peace Joy Love line is from the musical stamp set and the little treble clef is in the musical thinlit set and cut out of gold foil.  A nice little accent and color pop on this card.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match items from the different product suites or even the different catalogs to get the project you want.

Stampin’ Up! stuff works together perfectly and makes craft time more fun and dare I say it?

YES!  Crafting IS therapeutic!

Find some time for a little craft therapy this season…  I even have a tee for that in my Etsy store.  😉

Craft in style this year!  (Long sleeves and sweat shirts also available.)

Click on the tee to go to this listing in my Etsy store and look below for the some of the items I used for this card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful holiday season!
