Welcome to another RemARKable PinWorth blog tour.  This month we are having fun with all the geometric shapes that are so trendy and of course are available in awesome products from Stampin’ Up!

This is a fun cutting technique card using lots of the papers and punches and stamps that work so well together.

You start with a 12×12 sheet of cardstock, I am using one of the new in-colors, Lost Lagoon.  LOVE the new In-Colors, BTW!

Cut it to a piece that is 5 1/2″ x 12″ and then score at 4″ and 8″.  Then score beside the 8″ score 1  1/4″ before that and 1  1/4″ after that.

I like to think like that but if that blew your mind, do scoring at 4″, 6 3/4″, 8″, 9 1/4″

June1Then fold on the 8″ score line and put it into you scoring/trimmer and cut from the fold down to the score line.

Cut a 1/4 piece then an inch piece and repeat.  Keep going down the page like that.

Push the small pieces back to fold and the 1 inch pieces forward to fold.

When you get done, you have a piece that looks like the one below.

Then the fun of decorating begins!!June2

I used the fun ‘Moonlight’ Designer Series Paper stack because of all the fun geometric shapes and the awesome colors in there.

It’s pieces worked great for this style card.

June3Layering the paper is easy since you just match the colors in the DSP and it is perfect.

And as my little secret (but I am going to tell YOU), the layers here on the front of the card have triangular holes all in them.

Hey, I was covering it up, might as well save paper, right?  I think so.

And then I used some little pieces to put on my inch high fold and then the great NEW stamp set you HAVE to get from the new catalog called ‘And Many More…’

This set is the sequel to Teeny Tiny Wishes and you gotta love great words that fit in the word window!

Just put adhesive on the left half of the words.

And here is the finished card.

Lots of shapes and punches and FUN built into this card, one the recipient will display easily long after the big day.
