Remarkable Blog Hop – OH, so much fun to just PLAY!on June 9th, 2016 at 8:08 pm
Hi my fellow crafters! Welcome to another bog hop by the RemARKable Stampers Group.
By now most of us have gotten our first (or 2nd!) order of some of the new catalog goodies. After an incredibly BUSY April and May with lots of travels and events, it was such a luxury to just sit down and have some time to play! No plan, just fun new products and luscious new colors and so therapeutic PLAYTIME! Ahhhhhh… good stuff.
I chose to play with our new in-colors and the new Irresistibly Floral Designer Series Specialty Paper.
This paper has white-on-white floral designs show when paper is inked, so the FUN part is that you decide what colors it will be and how you will get the ink on there.
This is not a project with clean fingers afterwards. You will get inky and you WILL have FUN!
The first card I was just coloring the whole SHEET!
You know how I love to do swap cards, and of course I am participating in a few now with the new catalog out and all.
Swaps are a fabulous way to get great samples from the other talented Stampin’ Up! Demos around the country. Well, now, some are from around the world! How cool is that!
I wanted to add some other new ‘stuff’, so this is the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies (item #141489,Price: $27.00)
Having trouble reading it backwards? I am using the word ‘sunshine’. AND cut a ‘hi’ out of a second sunshine word.
Does anyone else work hard to find new words in the real words? I sure do! (it is really fun, try it sometime!)
The only problem with my hi and sunshine is that there is no dot over the ‘i’.
HEY, I can fix that with another new in-color product… the enamel shapes.
For only $9, you get 200 enamel shapes: 40 each in the 5 new in-colors… Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum. (item #141410)
These are really cool, check them out on the finished card below!
Here are a couple of other cards I made with this paper.
I am having trouble uploading all my pics, but hopefully this will show you some of the possibilities and make you want to get out you sponges and daublers and get YOUR fingers inky, soon!
And now, the tour goes on!
