RemARKably Created Blog Tour – Thoughtful Branches Quick Cardson July 17th, 2016 at 8:02 pm
Welcome everyone to our new round of the RemARKable Stampers blog tour.
Do you like our new graphics? A new name, a few new players, and a brand NEW stamp set to play with, YAY! I am having fun already.
So let’s get started.
ONE of my favorite things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is that I get to see their new stuff FIRST. Well, along with many thousands of my demo friends, but you know what I mean, right? Who doesn’t like sneak peeks and preordering to get it in your hands FAST!
Well, we were given such an opportunity this month with a new set that will not be in any publications, as a matter of fact when the general public can purchase this bundle in August, it will be ‘While Supplies Last’.
And trust me, that will NOT be long!
Great images and sayings in this one, and don’t even get me started on the awesome thinlits that match… WOW! So I am saving the thinlits for another blog post… I will be playing with this set for a good while, let me tell you!

I love the sentiments!
I LOVE that it covers different occasions!
Can’t you see the pine tree as a Christmas tree, bare trees for winter, changing the foliage colors for spring and fall.
I REALLY love options… and this set has it. Mark it down now, yes, you know you want it. Just accept it. I made you a flyer to print, see it here.
Here are the thinlits just to seal the deal, you WILL want the bundle.
OK, is there anything I have learned so far that will make you love it any more?
Maybe… here is what I love.
Lots of cards that are EASY and make it look like they were harder to do than they really are.
Everyone doesn’t need to know how easy Stampin’ Up! makes it on you with their awesome art… well, maybe they should but for now this is OUR secret! 😉
So this is my first discovery. How to get extra ‘depth’ and still be easy.
I made a little graphic for you to show this better.
And although I love the tree, I just didn’t want him in the middle.
My solution was to use a smaller piece for the focal point and offset my tree a bit.
This is 3×3 for the white and 3 1/8th x 4″ for the red on a normal front mat piece in Mint Macaron cut at 4″x5 1/4″.
The card base is Early Espresso to tie in with the tree trunk and the words on the Mint Macaron.
You gotta love the Mint Macaron 3/8″ Sheer Linen Ribbon, it goes perfectly on here!
Since Stampin’ Up! introduced this stuff last winter, I about can’t do a card without adding Wink Of Stella glitz to it!
So here is a little sparkly apple for you… click to see it bigger.
And then, I needed some little thank you notes to put in customer orders and I LOVED the 3×3 size… so I just decided to make a BUNCH of 3×3 cards!
That works great when you have 12×12″ cardstock. The Whisper White is available as 12×12″ and that will make 8 little cards.
I am still using the layered foliage and I love it turned, but now I wanted to show the new in-colors.
And yeah, I am still playing… time to make a fun flower that probably does NOT occur in nature.
I don’t care, I like it! So I made a pile of them. Would love to send YOU one for a Stampin’ Up! or Etsy Store order! (button on the top right of this page)
