Welcome to this month’s blog hop of stamping friends around the country and maybe even the globe!

This month the group is showing off some fun holiday tags.

I was in Salt Lake City for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage event earlier this month and spent several happy days greeting old friends and making new ones.

One of my favorite things to do and ways to meet new friends is to swap our cards or other creations.

One of the ‘other’ type of swap I always enjoy is the 2×2 swap my friend Debbie McNeil usually puts on.

This time I made 40 little 2×2’s and thought I was ready with extras… but NO.  Over 50 swappers were there and I just had to swap until I ran out.

Here is a pic of the swappers from Debbie’s CraftyPerson blog.  (She is awesome, check out her blog and products sometime!)  It is kind of hard to miss me in this pic… the tallest one in it.  But in fairness, I was on a hill.  But probably still the tallest one there.  lol

Attendees of the CraftyPerson Card Candy Swap

This was my swap this year, the theme was just ‘Holidays’, so anything was ok as long as it meant holidays to you.

I wanted to use one of the cool black and white designs in the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper in this and had found the saying that would fit on the 2×2″ size.

My friend and TaDa! team member Michele M. had been using the Snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Bundle for some of her cards and told me I just HAD to add that to the piece… in glimmer of course.

Well what can I say, she was right!  I loved how it came out.  The addition of one of the Clear Faceted Gems in the middle of the snowflake was a great finishing touch, too.

Here is my little 2×2 turned into a tag.  I wanted to make a little art piece from a few of them for this blog post, a bigger piece with some of the other coming later tonight.

Actually, I got a little carried away making this tag art.  Hard not to with such great craft material at your fingertips!  The banner punch made great background tag mounts, the word Noel from the Stocking thinlits.

For the other 2×2’s, the one on the left was done by my friend from New Zealand, Jackie Noble.  The one on the right was done by Janet Muse.  Sadly the others had no name on them, but I love them!

All the supplies are listed below the blog hop names.
